Ever since our humble beginnings, we have been manufacturing our lifting, marine, agricultural and specialist chains from Australian made steel, which in turn is made from Australian mined and processed iron ore. No other supplier of chains in Australia can make this claim. Many other various chains sold in Australia are imported from US, Europe, China.
By purchasing KITO PWB chain, customers are supporting Australian made products and Australian jobs and families. At KITO PWB every single manufactured link is proof tested at 2.5 x the WLL. No other chain manufacturer has a testing regime as rigorous as this. We offer many different types of lifting and technical chains as follows, each serving different purposes and offering different sizes.
Self-Colour – Sizes 10 – 16mm – Australian Made
Blue Painted – Sizes 8 – 32mm – Italy Imported
High-strength yet low-weight chain manufactured from special analysis alloy steel. 25% extra capacity over Grade 80. Well suited for overhead lifting applications.
Self-Colour or Yellow Painted
Sizes 6 – 22mm – Australian Made
Size 26 – 32mm – Imported
Herc-Alloy 800™ Chain is a high quality, high tensile alloy steel. It is hardened and tempered to produce a chain with a load-bearing capacity more than 3 times that of mild steel chain. Used in a wide range of industrial lifting.
Chain Sling Assemblies
Customized lengths – Australian Made
Chain Sling can be assembled in various formations to suit your lifting requirements. Different hook types can be added to the chain slings to allow for a diverse range of lifting applications. Available in customized lengths and adjustable by Grab Hooks. Also able to provide fully welded chain assemblies that have no mechanical joining devices.
Grade L – Galvanized
Hot Dipped Galvanised – Sizes 6 – 22mm
Used by respected boatbuilders across the country, Grade L Chains are manufactured primarily for heavy-duty marine applications, such as mooring and anchor lines.
Grade L Fathom Chain
Hot Dipped Galvanised – Sizes 10 – 22mm
Manufactured from lower tensile steel with additional end link fittings, this chain is supplied in a hot-dip galvanized finish for added durability. Used in the commercial fishing and leisure craft industries.
Self-Colour – Sizes 10 – 16mm
Manufactured from higher tensile steel and produces twice the working load limit of Grade L. This chain can be substitute where larger Grade L Chain would usually be required. Used in anchor chain, mooring applications.
GENERAL PURPOSE CHAIN
Regular Link Proof Coil
Galvanised or Self-Colour – Sizes 6 – 24mm
Manufactured from low-grade carbon steel, this versatile range of chain is proof tested to at least twice the maximum load for general use.
Long Link Proof Coil
Galvanised or Self-Colour – Sizes 6 – 10mm
With the longest link formation in the proof coil range, it features more generous link dimensions to provide more metres per 100kg. Ideally suited to agricultural and barrier applications.
Trailer Safety Chain
Galvanised / Self-Colour – Sizes 8 – 13mm
Our Trailer Safety Chain is manufactured for use with trailers of up to 3500kg aggregate trailer mass. Provision of a safe, secure, secondary connection between vehicle and trailer.
Self-Colour – Size 16mm
Flail Chain is used in the forestry industry for the de-barking of hardwood and softwood timbers prior to chipping. Available in bulk or cut lengths suited to your requirement.
Self-Colour – Size 10 – 16mm
Our Trawling Chains are available in regular link and long link. A specialized heat treatment procedure ensures both high strength and maximum hardness. Suitable for all methods of commercial fishing.
Long High-Tensile Calibrated
Self-Colour – Size 10mm
Heavy-duty high tensile hot dipped galvanized short link chain, commonly used for agricultural machinery, feed out wagons and specifically designed for anchoring applications.
